Super cute socks for my almost 9 year old girl! Bought a size large. They were bigger than I expected, both in width (a little loose around the ankles) and length, but to be fair, my daughter has very skinny legs...I don't think they would be as long on someone her age with wider legs (and the feet might be too small in someone her age because they do have a heel in these socks which limits the sizes that can wear it).Washed once and they didn't seem to shrink much. The socks go all the way up to my daughter's knee (she is 4'3" tall), but for reference she has very small feet and wears about a size 13 shoes, but quite narrow feet. Toe to heel on the sock fit perfectly in length for her size 13 feet. They feel like a quality material that shouldn't rip. Look very cute with her AFOs (ankle foot orthotics)! :)
