I bought these purely because someone reviewed them and said they looked like Frankenstein’s diabetes shoes! I was like ‘HELL Yeah! That’s exactly the style I was looking for!’ Who doesn’t want to be a Victorian horror character with podiatric footwear? Alas, dear strangers. I was left with naught but disappointment for there is little resemblance to Frankenstein’s Monster’s Shoes. Forlorn, I threw myself on my Victorian mourning chaise to contemplate disappointment next to a bowl of fruit. If I can’t have Frankenstein Monster’s shoes, I can at least be the muse for an impressionist painting. I give them five stars on comfort, durability, support, squish, wearability, and functionality. I give them one star for dashing my hopes of finally wearing monster couture. Perhaps if I sprain my ankle at my neighbor’s estate their cobbler will be able to assist me with my quest?All kidding aside, these are GREAT shoes.
