Crossed the dreaded Eagle River on Crow Pass Trail in Alaska last month wearing these and a pair of Teva water shoes. No chill at all! No leaks, feet were dry. I am cold-natured, and I had my doubts if these would really help. LOVE THEM!!! FYI - This river crossing with bare legs is often described as VERY cold and VERY uncomfortable, since it is a glacial river that is not far from the glacier. Yes, they are expensive, and I looked at several different brands, but these are worth every penny, and are constructed to last a long time.Fit: I got the Medium, they fit me well. Female, size 9.5 shoe.
